& nbsp; & nbsp; 1. Widely applicable to substrate bonding
& nbsp; & nbsp; Due to the low surface energy and high permeability of the base polymer (terminal silyl polyether), MS adhesive has good wetting ability for most inorganic, metal, and plastic substrates, thus producing good adhesion to the substrate. Refer to Figure 1 for details.
& nbsp; & nbsp; 2. Excellent weather resistance and durability
& nbsp; & nbsp; Polyether terminated with silanol groups is a long-chain polyether with low unsaturation, high molecular weight, and narrow distribution. The end group is a hydrolyzable siloxane group. After room temperature wet curing, MS adhesive forms a network structure with Si-O-Si bonds as cross-linking points connected by flexible polyether long chains. This system not only has excellent weather resistance, water resistance, aging resistance, and durability, but also effectively suppresses and avoids the occurrence of surface cracks in the sealant after long-term use.
& nbsp; & nbsp; 3. Environmental friendliness
& nbsp; & nbsp; Silyl terminated polyether is a long-chain structure of polyether terminated with silanol groups, which does not contain toxic isocyanate groups or free isocyanates like PU. Low viscosity and good workability of silicone polyether, without the need for organic solvents to adjust the process performance of the formula. Therefore, MS glue can completely achieve no addition of any organic solvents, and its total volatile organic compounds (VOCs) are very low. See Figure 3 for details.

& nbsp; & nbsp; The surface of ordinary silicone sealant cannot be painted or colored, and can only be adjusted to the color required by the user according to their needs; And silane modified polyether adhesive can be painted and colored, with good paintability. See section 4 for details.
& nbsp; & nbsp; MS glue synthesis process
& nbsp; & nbsp; Main synthesis process route: Add a certain amount of prepolymer, plasticizer, and white carbon black into a planetary biaxial stirring mixing kettle, and start high-speed dispersion and low-speed stirring; After stirring evenly, add other additives to prepare the adhesive and package it. MS is prepared by connecting silane compounds containing hydrolyzable groups to the end groups of polyethers with an average relative molecular weight of 5000-10000 and dual functionality through relevant chemical reactions. The synthesis of silane modified polyether is usually completed by a two-step method. Step 1: Using allyl polyether alcohol, hydroxyl terminated polyether, etc. as raw materials, dihalomethanes as chain extenders, and caustic soda as catalysts, allyl terminated polyether intermediates are prepared through chain extension reactions; Step 2: In the presence of platinum based catalysts, the refined intermediate is reacted with methyldimethoxysilane through terminal silanization reaction to produce silane modified polyether.

& nbsp; & nbsp; Indoor decoration is mainly based on silicone adhesive, accounting for 60%, especially glass adhesive. The mainstream market is dominated by numerous small brands, whose performance and quality are uneven, and environmental protection and green are not guaranteed. See Figure 7 for details.
& nbsp; & nbsp; Market share of MS adhesive in various countries
& nbsp; & nbsp; Due to its excellent characteristics such as wide range of bonding materials, environmental friendliness, and weather resistance, MS adhesive is flourishing in European and American countries. Its application proportion in the Japanese market has reached 45%, followed by 30%, 23%, and 2% in Europe, the United States, and China respectively. In China, with people's pursuit of green living and environmentally friendly decoration, MS adhesive has broad development space.
